I had a pair of the same shoes that came apart after several years of use. I really liked my old pair as they were extremely comfortable and, contrary to my expectations, really gave a much better feel of the pedals over just using athletic shoes. I have not used this pair a lot, but the fit seems a bit different (still comfortable). I got a blister on my one heel the first time I wore them for a full day doing a fair amount of walking. I'm thinking this was just a result of new shoes on a very hot and humid day at the AutoX. They still are great for driving, so I'm willing to put up with a little break-in period.
