Watch has some heft and is a bit clunky, which is what I wanted. Face is a shade of blue that some might say looks purple, but it is blue.
You can make some adjustments to the stap size without removing links, which is nice, and as another reviewer noted, the clasp does not simply snap open, you must press 2 small buttons on the side of the clasp to open it. Face surround is shiny chrome, not polished aluminum look, as are the outside edges of the strap, but the inner part of stap is polished look, which is a nice offset. It might not be a good fit if you have a small wrist.
As with any chrome watch, I would not use it for rough service and expect it to stay looking nice, as this is a dress watch.
The cons are that the watch does not have a date function, but then I got mine for less than HALF of what it is advertised on most sites.
